Until I make it home to you,
::

So it's official isn't it? I blog every once a month. EOY is coming and I feel terrible. Why? Cos I have no idea where to start. I need a timetable, pronto. As a matter of fact, I think I'll do it right after I'm done blogging.

Okay, so how's life treating me? HAHA, I don't even want to talk about it. It's weird for the most part. I've decided to start my mugging sessions as of tomorrow. Or maybe tonight... :S I'm planning to mug for humanities first, knowing it won't kill me instantaneously. After which I would start on my sciences. *shivers. Selamatkan aku ya Allah. I know it's a tad too late to be starting revisions now but hey, it's better late than never. (Okay, I admit I'm trying to console myself)

The unfortunate part of all this is the fact that I have no energy to do anything once I reach home. For a very simple reason of corse, my body's low glucose level. I have nothing against fasting, but it's really draining the shit out of me sometimes. I'll end up sleeping once I get home from school and finding myself trying my hardest to suck everything into my brain at night. Nasib, nasib.

But I have to stay positive and find a way to make it work. Can't even enjoy Raya fully this year. Thanks a lot man. Hang on, it's going to be a lot worse next year when it comes to Os. MY GOSH. Okok, get promoted to Sec4 with good grades first, before even thinking about Os. Only God knows how awful each and everyone of us will look next year when the Os start to suck the lives out of us like what it's doing to the current Sec4s. It's like STUDY-STUDY-STUDY: 24/7. It'll take me quite a while before I get acquainted with that kind of live style. Ugh.

Enough said about studies. At least something is cheering me up, well, in a way I suppose. :D I'm going to the Avenged Sevenfold concert on 24th Oct at Max Pavilion! WOOOOOHOOO. I've been waiting for like what? 3-4 years for this to happen. Ever since I was that freako in Primary 5 (or was it P6?) until now! I feel extremely blissful. And I told myself this - If my EOY results are great, the concert would be a bonus. If my EOY results sucks, the concert will cheer me up (at least something la) Either way, I'm still freaking excited. And I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those [FILL IN THE BLANK] who only recently started to like Avenged, despite the fact that they know nuts about their previous sounds etc. If it's not for you somewhat mainstream peeps, they would have never end up in Singapore with their own concert. :D I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

Hello people, Happy National Day! :D

Though I did not step out of my house the entire day, for some reason, I didn't feel totally bored. Probably it was cos of the fact that I spent most of the time planning to go out. Clearly, those plans failed miserably. But it's okay, I feel totally ecstatic just by watching the parade at home. Just the parade, not the whole NDP. I was simply blown away by the Military Police. I LOVED THEIR PRECISION DRILL; though one guy kinda screwed up a bit, haha. Was on the phone with Ashiqa. We spotted a lot of minor mistakes: like the first guy who made eye contact with the President when the President talked to him. And another guy from the GOH who glanced about 2-3 times to his left when they were marching. But what the hell, the GOH looked awesome, especially the Navy. WOOHOO!

Unfortunately, I didn't see one bit of the Red Cross contingent. Stupid camera man. All I kept seeing were St. Johns & Girl Guides. Sheesh. It's okay, I still know Boon Teck did great. He has our support. (:

080808. I don't really know what to say about the day. Started off with our school's NDP parade. It went well. It was really great when the whole school started becoming high and started applauding for us. The cock up happened when the crowd become TOO LOUD that our dear PC's voice sunk. And so, not everyone could hear his command for Sedia. Honestly, I was quite pissed at that point of time. But who cares, we did well thanks to the gloves. I JUST KNOW THOSE GLOVES HAVE A MAGICAL TOUCH TO IT! haha. I still prefer OC though, a hell lot better. It gave me a totally different feeling deep inside. AHH, I miss OC.

CIP at Pacific Healthcare Nursing Home for old the folks was.. enriching? Kinda sad to see the condition some of the residents were in. Shall not talk about it. But on the plus side, Mariana, Afiah & I got to chit chat with this Chinese ah gong who spoke Malay. He told us a lot about his kampong days when everyone spoke Malay. He was really nice :D

Okay, we planned to take photos together after the parade with our full u, but since we have to rush for CIP, we didn't manage to. :( Anyway, these are the only photos I have of the parade at the moment. Courtesy of Ms Adilah Saad. :D

RC Cont.

PC & Flag Bearers. Azizan was super nervous!

And yes, I still miss OC.

Okay guys, that's all for now. Fasting month is coming........ See you soon! Happy National Day once again! :D

Ika,

Biding Ink

It has been an honour leading my contingent
for both OC & NDP. Thanks for the amazing
experience. (:

It's good to know.
::

Okay, I'm currently listening to BSB's I Want It That Way. Like how random is that?

I hate to say it but I somehow feel the O lvl tension setting in. Every day I come home from school and I feel that I have not done much about my studies. It's something like an insecure feeling? I don't know. But I do know that it's beginning to get to me.

(worried)

I need to listen to old songs to calm myself.

I keep telling myself to start studying bit by bit when I get home or something, but eventually, I end up no where; which sucks by the way.

I need some kind of assurance, God knows where I can get that from.
Oh wells.

And yes, NDP is like next week. How fast is that la seriously? Before you know it it's the fasting month. Then Hari Raya. :D

But let's not forget EOY.

I think I have to start doing something already.

I shall start by attempting to read the malay paper at least on alternate days of the week. So at least I can get an A for my Mother Tongue O lvl paper which is on 5th Nov 08 by the way.

AAHHHHHHH.

&, I still can't get over the fact that in 5 years, I'm going to be 20.

MY GOD.

Good luck guys out there preparing of EOY.
Let's get promoted to Sec4 together & most importantly, graduate together. :)

Hey FREN FREN! Here to tell you good people out there that I'm getting back my voice! See what damage shouting can do to your tonsils/throat/whatever nots. Sadly I'm not a guy with a manly voice, if you know what I mean. Haha.

And, I'm also starting to pay attention in class again. Thank you for the "no more physical wear out". But I do miss it sometimes. Contradicting much? :D

CSS Official Opening Ceremony
Friday, 11th July 2008

Hey guys! Thanks to ASHIQA, I couldn't blog earlier about the our school's official opening.

It was a damn HIGH day, I must say. Everyone was feeling all pumped up & surprisingly, the school actually looked nice that day, despite the over decorating part, haha.

EVERYONE LOOKED GREAT!

The parade was awesome. I couln't care less, the fact that I was standing there for 30mins+ or so.

The fact that THAT WAS IT, the actual parade. OMG!

I can safely say that this day is the best day of my Sec3 life. :D Though the trainings are felt like a stab in the heart (okay, maybe in the arms, thighs, shoulders), they were worth while. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO going to miss OC trainings.

We did great guys! All the UGs (:

I tried my best by shouting the loudest I can. And I actually marched in with a super high head. Serious tilting up, I could like literally feel it.

I felt so stuck up. HAHAHAHA.
But hey, thats what the actual thing do to you.
On a second thought, I think it was the gloves, haha.

Like what Najibul sir said, "Told you guys right, when it's the real thing, it's like you've never stood before!"

IT WAS SUCH A HAP HAP HAPPY DAY!
I know it's very cliche to say this, but words really cannot describe this day. It's just too great to blog about, really.

Felt the true bond between the UGs. Though Azizan is very annoying today in school. SHEESH.

Anyway, here are the pics we took!
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D WHEEEEPEEE!

Random shot of their head gear + boots. Bharatth doesn't appreciate angular shots btw, lol.

And yes, Y L ANG is polishing his boots before the parade. Everyone was actually. heh. 3/5 on 11th July = NCC Den.

Azizan's Number1. I just admire the pureness and the fact that it looks all shiny.

While waiting for Fall in (:

Azizan looking all horny (as usual) listening to Madonna's song.

Ashiqa did the Scorpion for me.

Okay, so like we took this photo without their knowledge.

Our first target, KJ ONG. Since he's the first one to change and everything.

Ah yes, my dear Red Cross Contingent. :D

Grp photo with Ms Shyam!

Azizan & I. :D

UG-mates. (:

Ashiqa, me & amy as usual. :D

Okay, this is like my favourite pic! So white & pure. Love it.

Ashiqa & I with Danish, our recently adopted little bro from Sec1. :)

Everyone was actually laughing in this pic. Especially me.
HEH.

Okay la, basically, I'll never forget the 11th of July 2008.
I really have to go now, which explains for the very brief post.

Till then guys.
:D:D:D

And don't forget.
LAK LAK AH FRENN!

P.S., Sorry if some of the photos seemed like they have been cut out. Fact is, some HAVE been cut out. & edited with photoimpression. All this so the rifles can't be seen.

Biding Ink

A girl fainted due to exhaution. And she's is not even in a uniformed group.

See how insane she is.

Everyone is too tired to perform well. & Homework would never be completed cos we are just TOO tired when we get home LATE.

TIRED. FULL STOP.

It's an honour, yes I understand that. But we are humans too. Oh yeah, she's not.

Insanity has reached it's peak.

so here it comes.

Okay, so like usually I'll get excited when school reopens but NOT THIS TIME HONEY. I fret almost everything. It's too terrifying to even type them out. :S

I can feel the stress slowly creeping back. *shivers. What is even more frightening is the fact that I can't remember any Amath formulas/methods.

I'm dead aren't I?
YES.

It's okay, the Amath textbook is a good material to help refresh my mind. It helped me quite a bit today.

fuck school. But who am I kidding? We have no choice anyway. UGH.

-

Have been watching Disney for the past few days. I realise they have really excellent marketing strategies. Just look at how big High School Musical is now. & the movie isn't that good in the first place. But look at all those kids screaming for them, the merchandise, EVERYTHING.

They can even have pictures of them printed on bun wrappers. How's that?

And let's not forget Hannah Montana. They just had some Hannah Montana 3-D concert yesterday on tv; where kids have to actually purchase the 3-D "goggles" to watch the concert.

See what I mean. Don't get me wrong, Hannah Montana songs ARE catchy if you're a 10 year old girl and she is an okay actress. But I feel that she can't really sing. But hey, she's famous.

ADVERTISING/PROMOTION IS ESSENTIAL I tell you. It works, big time.

Okay, I am so random.

I think I won't be blogging much after this post due to obvious reasons.

Here's something I found very true :D

Sorry it's a bit blur. But you should be able to read the words. This is a conver with jabbar online. He suddenly typed out some smiley emoticons which he never does btw. So I asked him why was he being gay all of a sudden. So he answered "psl nanti biler skola da start tiap tiap pagi satu2 muke stress" (Translation: Cos later when school start, each & everyday, everyone's stressed out). Hate to say it, but he's so right isn't he?

So moral of story is, WE SHOULD LEARN TO CHILL & have a open heart. Try la hah.  (:

Happy schooling guys!
Till then.

Bring on the stresssssssssss!

It floats now,

School's starting again. MY GOD.

I realised that the June holidays I've had for the past 3 years are very life changing.

June 2006 - whole
June 2007 - halved
June 2008 - POOF.

If you don't understand, it's okay. :D

I'm almost done with my homework. But I'm still worried about the history & el proj. The hist is fully discussed on, but we havn't really started it for real. The el one could be done in a day. But it's like grp work. -.-

This is why sometimes I think individual work is still the best. If you don't do it, you die la basically.

-

The next 2 weeks or so is going to be INSANE.

"BLAH BLAH BLAH...remedials are going to be cancelled, all of you will have training everyday. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday is component training, Tuesday and Friday is combined training"

OH PUH-LESE. Component training? What is that even supposed to mean la.

She doesn't know what she's talking about.

To tell you people the truth, I was insulted when she said "if they can do it, why can't you guys?" EXCUSE ME. What's that supposed to mean la? How can she even compare, it's like answering a comparison question in comb.humans wrongly. No common denominator.

We are NOT them.

And why the sudden interests in us? Oh, because for once you actually need us. For once.

SHEESH.

And the wet-weather arrangement is just sad la. I mean after so much we trained, and if it rains on that day, we'll just stand there like some statues?

That's unfair isn't it. The least we could do is something fancy that people can see. I should talk to someone about this. Hopefully they can do something about it. :S

I'm sorry for complaining so much.
hahaha. But what's wrong is wrong and what's right is right.

-

It's hard to monitor our standard cos my people are always behind me. We're almost there though. Just that some need to keep up with the timing.

And yes, we need to take smaller steps. (including myself)
We have to ditch our normal marching for this parade. Guess we have to control steps now.

-

Thursday's training was obviously tiring for everyone, I couldn't exactly feel my body the next day. But somehow it was pretty okay when it came to after lunch on Thursday. Cos everyone was all fuelled up. & no one fainted or anything though we were under the sun most of the time. Just some nc guys not feeling well here and there.

I'm not sunburnt or anything. But my neck and face is like a few tones darker than my chest etc. When I bathe, it's just scary. Uneven tanning I tell you.

& ncc was just so....high? Now I see where they get their drive from.

I was like asked "Miss commander, do you want to join us? Then we can march together?"

HAHAHAHA.

But I couldn't accept the offer cos it was before 3pm and we were all not supposed to be out in the sun. Including them. :S

We eventually got kinda high too. Chew yen was like "Feng Shui ma'am, so we fall in here."  & Jing han's "satu, dua, tiga, empat, ahh, ahh, ahh, Timer paiseh! Timer paiseh!"

:D

And btw, I must say it's nice to have the peace treaty.

I'm sorry this post is so unorganised. Random thoughts in brain at the moment.

Till then guys.

this is so much better.
::

I'm obviously back from Batam. :D

But, I feel kinda bad for not going ULP. :S

Things just always clash doesn't it. But I feel relieved that jingyu enjoyed herself there. She has got loads to teach us once school reopens!

Yesterday's training was f-u-c-k la. Gosh, I kept missing my mark to turn right into our spot. As not many of you know I am short sighted. So I just see the 1st mark which is NP's mark to turn. Our mark was the 2nd one. So then I kept turning too fast and end up marching FAR off from my people. And the worst part is, no one said anything to correct me which I found a tad bit weird cos when I was marching I knew I did a huge mistake. Sometimes I wish Najibul was there to comment/correct me. :|

Thank god kang sheng went to show me the correct marking. It's the further one & it's shaped like a right-angle instead of NP's marking which was a shape of a um, line? But I've yet to try it.

And yea, there was this NP dude who just passed out and fell back, hitting his head. I was in senang diri but I just rushed over to him and sort of try to help him up. Hope he's ok. And his other NP friend too. And that NC guy too.

Parades are scary.

And my juniors are kiasu. LOL. But kiasu-ism is GOOD cos I admit I am too!

Okay, enough about that.

BATAM!

Okay, Batam basically... um, had nothing much to offer la. What do you expect right? HAHA. But going to my Uncle's house ON the water was probably the best thing there. Our trip there was basically to have a visit with him. Turns out that way la. Plans always change as I said before, sheesh. So anyway, his house was at the end, and it was the nice cos it was built on and out of stones/brick unlike his neighbours who relied on wood to keep their house stable. But those wood are really tough and lasting you know. It's very kampong-like. I don't have a prob with that cos I have lived in a kampong before in Melaka. hehe.

Here are a few photos, courtesy of Nurul's PDA. (:

The resort had beautiful sceneries.

My mummeh looking at us playing at the beach.

Uh huh, RECEIVED table, hahahahah. Probably from the heavens..... ah.....

Okay, this is cool. We went to a seafood restaurant. Every table had a pole nearby which had a bell on it. To call for the waitresses!

"San Francisco" Bridge. :D

Family & I. Gosh, what's up with my dad's face? lol.

Paklong(Uncle) & I. Sometimes when he smiles, he reminds me of Abang. LOL.

I can tell you one thing's for sure is that Batam has delicious food. Unlike here. :S

My uncle's neighbours' homes.

The bunch of houses on water. Quite cool.

Hanging out outside the house.

Open the door, take 4 steps, into the water you go.

See what I mean.

The inside of the house.

My uncle's nephew! Muhammad Ekhasan aka Chachan. He's so CUTE. Eurasion boy. Can't really see it in the pic but his hair & eyes are very brown, esp his eyes. ;)

This picture is priceless!

How much we missed A&W.

How much I miss this! A&W style.

Me posing like an excited idiot on this turquoise couch.

The sign on this mini stage says "DILARANG DUDUK DI ATAS PANGGUNG". Which basically means "NO SITTING ON STAGE".

Going to my uncle's house made me realise a few things. Kids there are happier, calmer, less stressed. And most importantly they are not rude and appreciate what they have.

Unlike most kids down here. :(

They passed by toy stores and don't even care. I'm just happy that they aren't rude la, unlike those kids from community service day WHICH are probably too pampered.

Till then guys.
Off to Ashiqa's hse to do homework.

& let's hope I don't cock up during the parade again tmr.

I surprise myself sometimes. And yes,
this is so much better. :D Syukur Alhamdullilah.

I would, but I won't.

Ika,

Biding Ink.
